Visa on arrival

Government of Indonesia has its visa policy for foreign tourists effective February 1st., 2004. Indonesia Entry visa is possible now only for nationals of the following 11 countries and territories: Brunei Darussalam, Chile, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Morocco, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Citizens of these countries will be spent in achieving a residence permit for 30 days free with the presentation of a passport valid for at least another 6 months. This residence permit can not be extended or converted into another type of visa.

Visa on ARRIVAL (VOA)

This structure is now available to nationals of the following countries: Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, Hungary, Iceland, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Laos, Latvia, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Panama, People’s Republic of China, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Suriname, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States America.

Citizens of these countries may apply for a VOA valid for either 7 or 30 days after arrival by air in Bali, Jakarta and a other international airports or by ship in a limited number of ports in Indonesian. A 7-day visa costs U.S. $ 10 and a 30-day visa costs U.S. $ 25.

VOA can not be extended or converted into another type of visa. Also be aware that Immigration officials calculate the period of 30 days, as follows: your arrival day is calculated as the first day, and you need to leave the country to 30. day!

How do I get visa on arrival (VOA)

Travelers from the aforementioned countries must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival and download full attack cards they receive from their airline. They must also demonstrate that they have sufficient resources to their stay in Indonesia.

Citizens of countries not in the VOA or Visa-Free lists are required to apply for a visa for overseas travel to Indonesia. Alcohol and tobacco

You are only allowed a maximum of one liters of alcohol, 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars or 100gram and a reasonable quantity of tobacco perfume in Indonesia.
