Bali population census in 2001 reached 3,156,392 and the Balinese people themselves are not staying in Bali Island but also spread through the Indonesian island. Bali breed is a group of community banded Oneness of consciousness or culture. The Traditional Balinese are very banded aspect of social living like performing pray in the temple, to place in some area along etc. Balinese were not able to develop and sustain their extremely complex agricultural economy for centuries on end without a very organized community structure.
Balinese people are friendly lot. Smile at them and they will smile back. Balinese attention in the service is simply unmatched and legendary.
They are still useful and will always try hard to please you. So great courtesy and politeness, I found myself giving out monetary tips to my local guides and hotel staff for their great service. And I tend to frown up abandoning tips especially on expensive restaurants, I felt already extorting big fat margin for their so-called culinary delights. But in Bali, things are different , Bali villa rental.
These services are cheap and you will never feel scammed so tipping is a great way to show your utmost appreciation and recognition for their diligent efforts. The Balinese, anthropologists suggest, are an amalgamation of several individuals.
The Chinese come from the north, the Indian and Arabs from way West, and other groups coming directly to Bali, or by using Java. Centuries earlier, and they become what is now known as native Balinese. They are blessed with well-developed bodies, golden-bronze skin, long glossy black hair, and charm and mystical smiles happily live in a rich and complete yet dynamic culture.
There are pockets of villages where fraternization with outsiders is completely restricted, resulting in a people and a culture that the Balinese called Bali Aga (Old Bali), which may probably be the tunnel, which allows us to periscope into the culture in Bali in recent centuries.
Strong social Organization System
Balinese People Bali Cultures The basis of this community structure is called Subak and Banjar. Anyone who owns a rice paddy must join the Subak in their village. The Subak controls who will plant rice and when (plantings are staggered so that pestilence is minimized). As well and more importantly the Subak ensures that all farmers receive their fair share of water since traditionally the main Subak was the farmer whose field was at the bottom of the hill and water first had to pass all the other area before it was allowed to to irrigate his.
The other important community structure is the Banjar, which organizes all other aspects of Balinese life (ie marriages, cremations, community service, festivals and the like). When a man marries, he is expected to join the village Banjar and must participate in community affairs. Meetings re held at a large outdoor concert building called Bâle Banjar.
A person in Bali can not exist in solitude. Balinese society very community oriented. The first invitation to participate in the next village meeting is delivered to you practically as a wedding present. If ignored, it will result in a warning if three requests are ignored, so the village can take action against you. Since land is usually owned by the community, the village may revoke your privilege to till the soil.
Much of the rituals require massive effort, usually the shoulder in the village together. They will have to bear it yourself if you decide to be a pariah. Together with other families in the village, you can attend meetings. You can play an instrument in the orchestra, or dancing in ceremonies. The women prepare to offer their small shrines or village offering to the mother temple of Besakih. If a child in a family is having his teeth filed, the rest of the village women to help cook and prepare, and the men set up the scene and help decorate the house.
In short, life in Bali is never alone. You can observe this even in small children. As their parents go to plant rice, children - everyone seems to be in their best behavior - playing with their age group.. Older people will care for the younger. Fights seldom occur, and loud screams or cries are still scarce.
As if they have been taught to be in harmony with their surroundings. The Balinese also has a built in population control mechanism through their naming structure. In Bali, all first child is named Wayan, second child who was the third child is Nyoman and the fourth, or last, is Ketut. If you have more than four? Well, the Balinese seem to have understood modulo arithmetic, so it’s back to Wayan, Made, Nyoman and Ketut, repeat.
But implicitly, culture discourages having more than four children. Although coming from India, the brand known and Hinduism practiced in Bali departs significantly from the one found in India. Instead of mysticism or philosophy, the mphasis on Bali’s Hinduism is more of ritual and dramatic elements, allowing the religion and its practices to incorporate everyday Balinese peasants.

These rituals and dramatic elements are inextricably woven into the lives of Balinese to the extent that one can not separate the religious life of Bali from its daily life. Indeed, one could say, every little action of a Balinese has some religious connotation; stone and wood carvings, cremation ceremony, trance dancing, live music - all designed to please the gods and goddess. These rituals usually take place in a temple, the main structure of the Balinese culture.
